Songs, truths and gossip! Niklas Strömstedt's critically acclaimed performance "think ABOUT me".
- I've always found it both fun and challenging to do something more than just an upside-down concert when I get the chance to face an audience. Over the years, I've wrestled with malfunctioning slide projectors, had heated dialogues with myself in the form of a life-size cardboard cutout, ridden a triumphal chariot in gladiator armor, and I've even toured with a real therapist who had therapy with me on stage between songs.
In 2023, the book "OM Niklas Strömstedt" was published, which is an autobiographical journey through both the small life and the more public career, and during the work on that book, the idea was born to also let it become the basis for a stage performance.
Which songs made the hair on your arms stand up? What did Evert Taube say when he called? How do you get out of that paralyzing and destructive silence and when there is suddenly a turkey hanging under your chin - what the hell do you do then? And love - can you make sense of it?
