Sweden's biggest musical show

One of Sweden's most popular musical shows and one of the obvious highlights of the year for all musical lovers! Here, great voices and great emotions come together in a string of the most beloved hits from the world's greatest musicals - all performed by some of our absolute best and most merited musical artists.

The show, which has been described by the press as "the Diggiloo of musicals", is once again embarking on an extensive tour of Sweden this fall and, as in previous seasons, the audience is offered a completely new world-class ensemble and updated music from iconic musicals such as "The Phantom of the Opera", "Evita", Kristina from Duvemåla", "West Side Story", "Chess", "Cats", "Les Misérables" and many more.

This year's tour features John Martin Bengtsson, Emmi Christensson*, Martin Redhe Nord, Linda Pritchard, Viktoria Tocca* and Malena Tuvung. The orchestra is led as usual by conductor Carina E. Nilsson. * Emmi Christensson and Viktoria Tocca alternate during this year's tour of Sweden, and at Rival it is Emmi who participates.

Emmi Christensson is an internationally recognized musical star who has played leading roles in several iconic musicals such as Maria in "West Side Story", Liesl in "Sound of Music" and Cosette in "Les Misérables". Most notably, she has played the role of Christine in "Phantom of the Opera" in over 500 performances at both the West End in London and Cirkus in Stockholm. Over the years, the TV audience has also gotten to know Emmi when she has been a guest on programs such as "Så ska det låta", "Allsång på Skansen", "Doobidoo", "Moraeus med mera" and "Lotta på Liseberg" among many others. In 2018, she competed in Melodifestivalen with the song "Icarus" written by Thomas G:son and others. In the new version of Disney's classic "Beauty and The Beast" (2017), Emmi voices the main character Belle.

John Martin Bengtsson is one of Sweden's "musical phantoms" and probably the only person in the world to have sung both male leads in "The Phantom of the Opera" in three different languages: Swedish, Danish and English. He has also played leading roles in several other musicals both in Sweden and abroad, including "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Fame", "Cabaret", "West Side Story", "Les Misérables", "Wicked", "Beauty and the Beast". He was most recently seen in the role of Karl Oskar in Kristina from Duvemåla at Dalhalla. In addition to the musical stage, John Martin is also an appreciated solo artist who has released several albums and participated in both major concerts and various TV productions.

Linda Pritchard is a professional singer and dancer who began her musical career at Wallmans Salonger. This led her on to the bigger stages and we have since seen Linda in everything from Melodifestivalen to touring all over Sweden in productions such as "Diggiloo" and "Christmas Night". As a musical artist, she has participated in Malmö Opera's touring production of "Godspell" and in 2022 she could be seen in the role of Simon in the musical concert "Jesus Christ Superstar" with Ola Salo and Peter Jöback in the lead roles. Linda has also appeared in several TV programs, including "Så ska det låta", "Lotta på Liseberg" and "Sommarkrysset".

Martin Redhe Nord is a trained musical artist and has over the years participated in productions such as "Mamma Mia!", "Cats", "High School Musical", "West Side Story", "Book of Mormon", "The Witches of Eastwick" and "Kristina from Duvemåla". His big break came in 2018 with the role of Quasimodo in 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' at the Gothenburg Opera. In recent years, Martin has been seen in "Next to Normal" and "9 to 5" at Uppsala Stadsteater, and in the role of the evil principal Trunchbull in the musical "Matilda" at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. Martin is also known to TV audiences after having participated in popular programs such as "Så ska det låta" and "Doobidoo".

Malena Tuvung is an accomplished singer and musical artist who has appeared as a dancer and singer in everything from pub shows to musicals and operas. On the musical stage, she has appeared in productions such as 'Fame', 'Grease', 'Jekyll & Hyde', 'My Fair Lady', 'Mary Poppins', 'Romeo & Juliet' and 'West Side Story'. In 2009, she also played the lead role of Grizabella in the musical "Cats" at Cirkus in Stockholm, where she sang one of the biggest musical hits of all time, "Memory" - a song she also performed in "Allsång på Skansen". In the summer of 2023, she was seen for the second year in a row in the concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar at Dalhalla.
