With melancholy, swing and warmth, "Stjärnenätter" with Sofia Karlsson and Martin Hederos is back for Christmas 2025!
Already in 2013, the multi-instrumentalists and artists Sofia Karlsson and Martin Hederos toured together at Christmas time and in 2015 the album "Stjärnenätter" (Songs about Christmas) was released to the public. From the album, the idea of a Christmas show was born shortly thereafter, where humor and warmth as well as melancholy are in focus. The tour has since become a sparkling ray of light for many - a sound oasis to come to in the December darkness. Tickets here.
This year is no exception. Martin and Sofia will once again provide the audience with cinnamon-scented sounds at Christmas time. The duo throws itself in the usual order between Hawaiian Christmas, pole shoes, mountain palms and glittery evergreens. On December 14, the duo will come to Rival in Stockholm.
Martin says about "Stjärnenätter":
"My best moment on stage with Stjärnenätter is almost always when I get up from the piano and walk over to Sofia who has picked up the guitar or mandolin bass and then we stand close together, close together on stage and swing together. That's kind of the essence of our duo, a skinless interaction where we throw ourselves out and take risks together."
Martin Hederos is one of Sweden's foremost recognized songwriters and musicians and was one of the founders of The Soundtrack of Our Lives. Martin Hederos currently plays in the band Tonbruket and Hederosgruppen and has written television and film music together with Irya Gmeyner, including for Svt's major initiative Sweden and the war. He has won 10 grammies with his bands and also as a solo artist. This spring, a Svt documentary will be made about Martin's life and musical life. He is the proud recipient of the Stena Scholarship 2023.

Said about "Starry Nights":
"A lavishly talented duo encapsulates what the biggest holiday of the year should always be about. Sofia Karlsson and Martin Hederos have put together a Christmas concert that is an exquisitely low-key mix of melancholy, warmth and peace" , Aftonbladet
"The highlights are so many, but "O helga natt" in a purely unearthly performance has to be mentioned. It is easy to fall into angelic associations with Sofia Karlsson's voice, but she has something deeply human in her performance and switches between different expressions in a way that few are able to master.", Östersunds-posten
"For God's sake, the finest thing I've heard since I (wasn't) confirmed... I don't need any other Christmas concert than this one with Sofia Karlsson and Martin Hederos." - Johan Lindqvist, Göteborgs-Posten
